Established in 2014, The Phone Surgery was one of the first repairers along the South Coast of New South Wales, specialising in quality repairs for mobile phones, tablets, smart watches, laptops, PC’s and small electronics.

Since 2014, owners and directors Tay and Nikki have established four repair and accessory stores along the South Coast located at Kiama, Nowra, Vincentia (Jervis Bay) and Batemans Bay. Along with their on-site stores, Tay and Nikki created The Phone Surgery Repair Van in 2022 which consists of a built in workshop on wheels where we come to you and repair your device, taking out the hassle of travel for our customers.

With over 16 years experience in the tech repair industry, Tay provides a plethora of knowledge both in business and the day to day operations of the company. Starting as an Electrical Apprentice at 18, Tay changed career paths and moved into the Mobile Phone repair industry gaining experience in Sydney and the Illawara prior to opening his first store in Batemans Bay in 2014. With continued learning and training in the rapid tech industry, Tay is The Phone Surgery’s Head Technician and also a certified Senior Micro-solderer. Tay runs the operations of our four locations, leading a team of 10 technicians as well as the repair van.

Nikki completed a Bachelor degree in Business and an Associate degree in Event Management at Macquarie University in 2013. Nikki has an extensive background in operations and administration in hospitality, hotel properties and retail for over 20 years. Nikki runs the behind the scenes business operations of The Phone Surgery from accounts, admin, finance, human resources and marketing.
